During the design and planning stage is the best time to make any changes. Once we start the project, changes can slow down progress. When changes arise in the planning stage, we can account for them in our construction plan. Making these changes early will reduce costs and delays once we begin your project.

How long does the remodeling process take?

Each project is different depending on the size of the scope. A typical kitchen remodel can range between 2 to 4 months, a bathroom can range from 1 to 3 months, and additions can range between 3 to 8 months. Throughout the design process, we will provide you with a schedule tailored to your project.

Can I remain in my home during construction?

In most projects, you can remain in the home during what we call livable construction. During the workday, along with separating the work area from your living space, we will be turning off the electrical and plumbing, but it will be up and working before the end of the workday.

Depending on the municipality, we work with our trade partners to take care of all permits.

What do you do to protect the parts of our house that are not getting remodeled?

We ask that you remove all your personal items such as TVs, furniture, pictures and decorations before we get started. If you need help with packaging, moving or storing those things, we can help with that. We cover all remaining flooring, install plastic walls to separate your living space from the work area to minimize dust, and use a dust-collecting filter on every project.

What will the payment schedule be?

We make progress payments, and the size of the project determines the payment schedule. Typically we take a down payment to have all finish materials ordered and to schedule your project, then milestone-scheduled payments as your project progresses.

We offer a 3-year labor warranty, and most manufacturer warranties are 12 months or longer.

We do a 6-month and 1-year warranty checkup and walk-through where we check all work for the highest quality. If anything arises, please get in touch with us immediately to schedule a time with our team to make any repairs.

We do a final walk-through with you. At that time, we will take you through your project to show you how everything works, then pass along our project completion book, which will include our 3-year warranty, manufacturer warranties and any manufacturer books.
